Is there no sequence to the start light flashes Simon ?
I would suspect the NTC or the flow meter myself although the fact that it heats should mean the NTC is OK.

If memory serves me correctly I’ve come across this, or a very similar, fault once before.
The machine would work ok on engineers test program and 50 degree wash but would fail on the 70 degree wash. I can’t remember if the start light flashed or whether the machine just kept washing though.
Changed the NTC, which checked out ok on diagnostics and on the meter, and this cured the fault.
The final rinse on these machines is a very hot rinse, could be the NTC is failing at this point.
Hope this is of some help.Brian

poss thermister fault…find it behind pcb @ botton..follow 2 blue wire from pcb..t/mist plugs into sump area..half turn takes it out…
ps also check pressure switch also located @ sump near t/mist..half turn to take out..this gunges up causing silly stuff…
these to faults seem to be very common to w/pool d/w..August 24, 2005 at 8:04 pm #145624DentedPorsche

Yep, the two blue wires go to the NTC and I still think it’s the NTC failing during the final hot rinse. Be interesting to see what happens on a 70 deg wash.
