    Help!,

I found this forum in a desparate search for answers.

Basically, the machine wont work. When the on button is pressed nothing happens, no display, nothing at all.

I have previously replaced the microswitch in the door, so I know its not that (as at least the display lit up then).

I have tested the “on” switch and made the mistake of opening the thing up (it took me over an hour to put it back together again. I just could not figure out where the spring went).

After putting the switch back in place, I got my tester out and started prodding. The switch is working fine, and power is going to the PCB module where the display is.

I think that it is the PCB module (http://www.qer.biz/qer/images/UL1194.jpg) that is at fault, but I am not sure.

I have found a place to buy the module from for £54 (http://www.qualityelectronicrepairs.co.uk) but will not buy it before I get a second opinion.

Has anyone else had a similar fault ?
If the pumps / motors are faulty does the same thing happen?

Thanks for your anticipated responses. I am on holiday for a week, so I will look back at the forum before I do anything else.

    Regards

    Kev

If anything else was at fault you would normally expect to see an error code displayed so I think it may well be the PCB to be honest although please re-check the door switch and the on/off switch before condemning it as it’s a costly error if it doesn’t work.

Power off when checking though 😉 :zap:

Thanks for the prompt reply Dave.

I will wait for some more response before taking the plunge, however your answer is very much respected.

    Thanks

    Kev
