How difficult is it to remove the cupboard door from an in-built dishwasher and attach it to a new dishwasher’ door ?
How would you attach the cupboard door to a new dishwasher without having to ‘cut’ into the new dishwasher door ? Is there some kind of brackets involved 😕

Unless you go for a like for like replacement, drilling and new bracketry is always involved. If you could state what you currently have, we should be able to give some guidance as to removal. Your new appliance will come with a fitting template and brackets as required.

Thanks, Penguin. I’ll kep you posted – as I’m actually going to attempt a repair / replacement on my heating element tomorrow…
The machine I have is a SMEG DWI 45 slimline and is about 6 years old. If it gets to the stage where I have to keep repairing and replacing parts I’ll just get a new dishwasher.
That’s the reason why I asked about how difficult it is to remove and fit the existing cupboard door onto the appliance itself.

    🙂
