    Hi
    I have a F&P washing machine GW509NZ that is not functioning when it goes into the spin cycle.
    The machine starts to spin then both the pump and bowl stop, then it starts up again a moment later, it then procedes to go through the same cycle again , bowl begins spin and pump running then both bowl and pump stop.
    The code that appears on the panel progress LEDs is as follows.
    Left to right as appears on the panel. 00101011.
    Can anyone help with the Fault.

    Most likely out of balance switch fault. It corrodes over time.

    Power off if removing covers to check.

    Hi Chris,

    I’ve got an LW085 with exactly the same problem and the same error code, what did you do to fix the problem?

    Check for faulty switch, dodgy wiring, tub bias spring attached.

    Switch is p/no 426321 if required.
