door error

    we have a m/c that when you shut the door to start the cycle it will count down and then will show “door” after a short while but the cycle hasnt started

    any ideas

    I have the same problem with an Indesit we 16 washing machine . Replacing of the door interlock did not fix it . Any ideas .

    If the door actually locks, but the machine still does not start, you are almost certainly looking at some sort of computer problem. This can be extremely difficult to giagnose acturately, so probably engineer time.

    Check repairs@ or Directories for a UKW repairer in your area.

    Power off if you plan to investigate further.
