Horray I say
The most hideous piece of software IMO, but horses for courses 😉

I will miss it, IMO still one of the best part number look up around, and one of the first available too. Worked well, even with dial up while connections only ever came into its own when Broadband became wide spread.
A big mistake to get rid of it I feel.
Dave, like your car,you obviously never quite got the hang of it I guess. 😉August 30, 2005 at 9:57 pm #146227Dave_Conway

I must admit, I had a little lump in my throat went I saw Martin’s subjuct title. But that lump was replaced by laughter when I read Dave’s comments.
Twas a pain in the… but, twas great for just tapping in a model number, and quickly having pictures of all the spares in an instant.
I can’t say I’ll miss it, or the 10 year old fax/modem I had to use to update it/place orders. 🙁
So when is the last time people will be able to order with it?

How about, give me a genuine part number, so I can compare prices with other companies 😈

Did it?
The rep refused to re-install it on my shop PC, after I formatted it about a year ago.
“Don’t worry” he said “It’s all online, and just as good.” 😕

You can also get Connections to do the same, it shows the genuine part number rather than the 503168…… bar code number if you ask nicely, or beat the rep up 😆

A good example this morning, need a pcb timer for a hoover PE235. Try looking that up on connections or even find it in mediator. Open up the now defunct, but still working as a part look up, stocklink and get the part number in an instant.
