I have always ptretty much relied on the old ‘Washvac Stocklink’ system to identify and often order parts. It stops today and the partscenter website does not look that great to me!
I have online access to masterpart and I have discs from eoropart and kitchen economy.

Can anyone suggest any other systems (downloadable) that are good?

Qualtex do “Freefind” software which comes as a free set-up CD and regular updates downloadable from their website ( I could send you a copy if you like or hand it to you if you are going to next months meeting.. whatever?)

I will let you have a copy when I see you at Sibson if that’s OK?

Also Dave Conway being a Qualtex agent does have extra copies (I think?)

I have heard a rumour that Qualtex are going to update freefind soon with version similar to stocklink, and will be expanding their genuine range of spares. This should be available around Oct ?
Does anyone use Homespare ? what are they like, do they have any spares software?

    Regards

I can burn a few if anyone wants any ?

And yes, Qualtex are going to have new software later this year as far as I can gather.

Both http://www.masterpart.co.uk and http://www.homespare.com are both worth a look, no software but pretty good websites 🙂

Everyone should have a look at Genspares of Colchester http://www.genspares.co.uk A good site for identifying parts from model numbers and there prices are among the best I have found for most gen and Pattern spares Also the part numbers seem to be more up to date than our friends from Brum And they are a nice bunch to do business with.
