This is a freestanding “professional” cooker with gas rings but electric oven. The oven selector switch is on the far left of it.
It went two years ago and I got it for £30 from Comet.
    (Can’t find receipt!)
Now they direct me to 4ourhouse who ask £72.68 after initially sending knob at £20 which now has to go back. Their (correct,I hope) part no. is DEL1131114S.
Seme disc comes up with 5031685210748 £37 but discontinued, no alternative available.
Anybody suggest where I look next?

The part number for switch only from connect is 5031685210748 about £22 + Vat. The other is with new Modified wiring harness so they don’t burn out.

Thanks, that’s interesting. Thought there must be a weakness there somewhere. I’ll bet it’s just a matter of using narrower connectors so they don’t push against each other and distort the switch. Hmmm…think I’ll get this harness thing this time round.

They have modified the wiring on the switch so the load does not melt that great quality Bakealite that they don’t use.

To change complete harness takes about 40 mins no doubt there will be some much quicker.

Finally got this job done today. The cooker was connected to a copper pipe(bottled gas) with no flexible,so a Corgi bloke had to be arranged to disconnect it. Took me quite a bit longer than it took you though there were some other little things to sort out. The greys and blues in that wiring harness were a bit similar too, I don’t know how a colour blind person would have coped.
Not gonna jump at the chance to do another one of those!
