Machine starts to fill then emptys before it has reached correct level and stops with middle (3) neon flashing. Can anyone tell me what this fault code is at all? Any help would be greatly appreciated

On most of these the 3rd neon flashing is a thermistor fault.

Thanks…but it’s not thermistor fault – had exhausted that one. Any other ideas? This customer is nice as well as patient and I’d like to try and resolve. Any other ideas?

The control PCB is the same one used in the Hotpoint DC27, neon 3 flashing is an NTC fault so I would suspect a poor edge connection or even the board itself given that the NTC has been replaced already perhaps ?

Cheers for that Dave. Any idea of the part number I need for the NTC?

Partfinder ( it is riddled with errors ) does not list an NTC ( also known as a thermistor 😉 ) for this machine.

The diagram for the DC27 shows what may be a thermistor but the corresponding part numbers are not in the parts list. 😥

…and it’s my guess the new Partfinder (due out at the end of this month) will be just as riddled 🙄
