    The drum keeps filling with water although machine is switched off, machine works ok when drained but why does it keep filling? please help

    You will need a new water inlet valve fitting. Try Repairs@ for a local engineer to fix it for you 😀

    Have you tried turning off the hot and cold inlet taps to see if the fault disappears? Is it connected to a drain spigot under the sink U bend?

    Definitely sounds like the water inlet valve. This is not a big job to replace yourself if you can just get the part. Remember to disconnect the power before attempting any repairs :plug:.
