Deawoo Frost Free F/F Mod FR-4502K Cuts out for two days?

This problem appears to be an interesting one 🙁 .

The customer complains that this machine is only 21mths old approx. In that time it has cut out completely 3 times and takes about 2-3 days to come back on. The food in the freezer is lost as she does not always realise this is happening. The fridge light operates but no other activity is witnessed until it resumes working again.

There is no apparent sequence to this cutting out, who is going to remember to observe it with long periods in between anyway.

Anyone experienced this before or throw any light on the situation.
