ParticipantIf this is the future, then I’m not looking forward to it.
Hotp. Aquarius WF630G ser. 0098 31176142
Power board label 215007965-03
This thing’s got a fancy display which is reading “TEST”.
Pressing start/cancel again illuminates everything simultaneously, then the display goes to a sort of normal mode but wash led never comes on,although prewash does, despite not being selected.
Have checked all testable components- no fault found.
Extracted power module and found no visible damage.
Incidentally it’s got a small induction motor with tacho.(no more nice easy brush jobs?).
Suppose I’ll have to make an enquiry to theservicecentre 🙄 to find out that the power module costs about £90?September 13, 2005 at 8:31 pm #147307iadom

The answer is in the public forums..here
Perhaps this info could be added to the trade section error codes thread.
NB. 3 phase motor, tech advice from Hotperloni is to leave machine for five minutes after unplugging before attempting to access electrical components. :zap:

Ah,thankyou iadom. What a relief!
I had done a search of this site using make+model(after finding nothing in “error codes”)and of course that missed the answer because this model wasn’t mentioned.
Thanks for the warning too 😯 . I wondered why there were six triacs clipped to a chunky heat sink. They certainly let these electronics boffins have their heads, don’t they?Them and the cabinet designers. Pity they never ask us.
I should be going back to this job on Thursday. Not too sure what to charge now. (The poor old dear was half inclined to think she should buy a new machine).September 14, 2005 at 8:07 pm #147309leavemetogetonwithit
