My mother owns 9 year old Parnall Compact Dryer that has worked perfectly up until last week, when drying started taking about 25 minutes longer than usual to dry?

Can you help tell me what can sort this or is it just old age and time for a replacement?

    Thanks alot

Sounds likely the element or thermostats have failed and it’s just tumbling with cold air?

Costly for someone to fix in the grand scheme of things considering it’s age and the cost of a similar replacement 🙁

It does blow warm air it’s just seems to be taking longer, its front vented so i can feel the warm air coming out. I am very confused!

Well if its a ‘dual heat model’ then one half of the element has failed and a new element assembly will be required 🙁

    What’s the model number?

The Element Assembly (Part No: 1741122) is available via emailing spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk and the cost (I think?) is around £25 plus p&p. 🙂
