Hi, can anybody help with this please. The oven is about 7/8 years old and for the last year or so the fan took a while to get going, sometimes requiring a BANG to start it. I could put up with that. However, now the heating element has gone, so thought I’d replace both. I’ve got the cover off at the back of the inside of the oven but how on earth do I remove the element! The top screw loosens but won’t come out and the bottom catch won’t budge. Consequently I can’t lift the thing up to unhook it. There must be a knack, but if I keep my head in the oven much longer…
Help anyone?
