Microsoft Frontpage is OK for making something simple. But I use a firewall to keep an eye on it. It usually comes with stuff like ‘microsoft office’.
And I’d recommend ‘Swish2’ for a falsh site.

KeymasterRe: websites
MS Frontpage is “limited”, especially without your host having Frontpage extensions in place and usually that will cost.
This has been asked before and it is extremely dependent on exactly what you want the website to actually do. Once you know that, you can figure out where to start.

It does come down to if you want ‘extensions’ or not.

Dreamweaver? Arrrggghhhh!!!!!
Dreamweaver brings me out in a cold sweat. It was so complicated, I gave up on it. You must be a very clever man Kenny 😉

It’s not easy to get to grips with, true. But once you do its extremely powerful, especially with the integration of Fireworks, Flash etc.
If you really want confused try doing anything funky in Frontpage where you need the extensions or something like Hotdog. I did try a few others and I know Dreamweaver isn’t cheap or easy, but it is IMO the best.

ParticipantI have used macromedia and frontpage, and found frontpage the easier of the two, but microsoft publisher has ready made website templates that you can just fill in with your details and it really is a piece of cake.
take a look at publisher.

Only joking! – actually I think your teeth are really nice. If I was a lady Goat I would find you really handsome and want to give you a big KISS.
But then Mrs Goatboy would get jealous and cry, and I would cry because I had upset her and we would hold each other and sob on each others shoulder and………………….
Sorry about that!
Blame Mr Merloni for reducing me to a jibbering maniac
By the way , is this off topic?

Please don’t stoke the fires of Hell, he’s bad enough as it is without an ego-boost.
