Leaking quite a lot of water, seems to be coming from a screw head & rubber washer located below the drum, found the screw was loose then retightened and was okay for a few washes then leaked again. Screw & washer can be found by tipping the washer away from you and looking under the drum.

Can anyone please advise if this is the right diagnosis.

    Thanks.

Now are you referring to the ‘Tank Cradle’? That is the plate that is attached to the drum that supports the shock absorber mountings?

Also, what is the full model number of your appliance AND its serial number?…(on the back usually)

Visibly the screw/washer is not holding anything on, it may however be fixed to something within.

    Model is a W133S

    Serial Number 237291*80245180001

    Thanks.

Then you’re in trouble on this one I’m afraid 😥

The drum is a sealed stainless steel (tinfoil quality 🙁 ) and is not serviceable or even accessible. Most likely the screw you refer to is the ‘Heater anchor’ (holds the heating element in the middle of the drum and prevents it moving) 🙄

Complete new Drum Assembly is the answer and unless it is covered by an extended warranty of some kind, its Goodnight Vienna 😯

    Holy s**t!

Some further info just to make sure, it’s situated adjacent to a hose at the bottom of the drum, the hose comes from the bottom front of the machine (bit that you can access by taking the cover off).

Can i take a photo tonight and e-mail it to you just to double check?

    Many thanks for your help.
