    Hiyas,
Having trouble with a Panasonic combination microwave, model NN-A770SBBPQ.
It will only run on microwave for 22 seconds then stops, display resets/reverts as though it’s completed. Can’t tell if it’s actually heating or owt cause it won’t run long enough for me to check.
Anyone come across this or a similar fault? Any suggestions? (Bin it isn’t an acceptable suggestion 😛 )

    Thanks
    Brian 😀

Pretty sure this is a faulty invertor which is the electronic package that replaces the transformer , capacitor and diode. These are priced at around £80+vat trade . Invertor faults can sometimes be brought on by a faulty magnetron.
All in all an absolute nightmare and your original suggestion of the bin is unfortunately accurate. 😡

    Ta for that Bryan.
So, what your suggesting is that I replace the magnetron and inverter board.
I’ve already replaced the faulty display board so might as well order up the other bits and see what happens 😮

    Thanks

Yes , assuming fault is in no way connected to display PCB being replaced.ie all connectors/wiring in place.

Looks like a very expensive repair…..is it for a mad insurance company ❓

Sorry for taking so long over this, actually forgot about it.
Spot on with the diagnosis Bryan, the magnetron was faulty and it took out the inverter.
    Thanks for the help.

    Brian 😀
