    Hi,

    Our machine ground to a halt tonight with “error 5” in the display.

    Any ideas as to what this may be – and is it something that can be fixed by an engineer only?

    This will need diagnosing by an engineer. Looks like a fault in the heating circuit. Check out Repairs@ on LHS of page. Unplug power if you are going to have a look yourself :zap:

    It might also be the thermistor, the small device at the bottom rear of the drum with two wires to it, this changes resistance with temperature.
    It’s connected to the controll PCB.
