    Hi,

My Creda 37305 dryer doesn’t heat, and I have a fancy that blowing cold air over my laundry just isn’t enough to dry it.

From what I’ve read so far the problem is the thermostat. I’ve now learned what that 10 minute cooling bit at the end is for!

My question is really which thermostat do I ned to buy? None of the ones in the shop mention my model number, the closest is 37308.

If I get an answer I’ll buy the part!

Buy the way I’m most impressed by this site and the forums. Lots of info – not just about the cooling bit at the end of the drying cycle, but now I know why the fridge/freezer in the hallway always suffered in the winter. My first post here in ages of lurking 😉

    Many thanks,

    Tom.

110c cut-out is what you want – p/no 1740164. It is officially obsolete, but an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk should produce a pattern alternative.

No 37305 that I have repaired has rung bells – I take it that this is an aftermarket modification? 😀
