    I have a Whirlpool American side-by-side fridge freezer, model number 3XART700F00 of about 1998 vintage.

    It is still working well but is starting to become noisy – the usual noise but much louder. What is wearing out, bearings, mountings, motor, compressor?

    I should like to try to fix it before it stops working. Any ideas?

    usually the condensor fan motor bearings get noisy long before the compressor.

    Its really an engineer job to take much further.

    Try repairs@ and ask for advice from the local company to you.
