ParticipantHi,
I am sure this question has come up on this forum but i though i would post anyway as the model number seems different!
I have a bosch dishwasher that doesnt pump out, doesnt get warm either and seems to foam up bigtime even when there is no soap in it.
Could this be a blockage or because there seems to be no heat the brains have become fryed??? somewhere:(
thanks for any feedback 😉

Do check the pump first (see your instruction booklet to see how) if that’s OK then….
Very likely the main circuit board relay terminal has failed. Does the machine complete a ‘Prewash/Soak’ cycle OK?…try it and let us know 🙂

Sounds like the dispenser may be faulty which could cause the over foaming. This in turn may have damaged the heater (the main constituent of foam is air, and the heater is designed to run in water)
Time for an engineer?

Ok, well i had a good look this time and what’s happening is:
It’s not heating up on intensive or quick wash or any settings for that matter
Just seems to continuously wash and not stop!
Won’t reset when both buttons are pressed for 3 seconds
The salt light is on even when salt is in the machine
There is a red dot on all the time on the display, not sure what this means?
I checked the pump and water is being pumped around the machine, it is not running a pump out cycle presumably because its not heating 🙄
Does that narrow it down?

Computer board gone doolally is the most likely culprit. The no heat/dry joint problem is well documented; no drain/reset is more likely the processor.
Time for pro help? Check repairs@ or Directories of a UKW repairer in your area.

So is the computer board / processor one of the same thing?
Is this something i can fit myself? part number and price? or not worth messing with and buy a new machine?
Would like to fix it, ok its 7 years old but not a mark on it 😥

3 different UK versions, fortunately all use the same board. P/no for computer board is 264877, £97.53 plus p+p plus VAT. Order from http://www.bshappliancecare.com.
Be absolutely certain of the diagnosis as they will not accept it back under any circumstances.
