Hi all
I have just receved my form for this company but I am a litle concerned about the £75 min order or £5 postage. But I must admit I am getting fed up with connect and also now not happy with seme’s dellivery service.
May be be its time I just accepted that a small one man band like me will have to pay postage on all orders from now on and try and get the best level of service and dellivery I can for it.September 30, 2005 at 4:13 pm #148888kwatt
KeymasterWe’ve been using Masterpart a bit more of late and so far so good, Dave could probably tell you more though. Prices seem pretty keen to me and, if you save enough on the parts in general, then the £5 carriage wouldn’t (or shouldn’t) really matter.
As for Connect’s pricing, well I got a taste of that earlier today but I’m saying nuffin’ till they have the chance to put it right. 🙄

Pretty sure it`s £60 for free carriage on internet orders , which helps slightly.

Yep, Masterpart are pretty good in all honesty, as are Homespare (who incidently have a fairer pricing policy on carriage ;))
Yes, £60 is correct Bryan (Internet orders only) 🙂
Dave.

Dave, I don’t have a homespare account, so I guess many others won’t either.
Will you post details on Homespares for all to see?

Our minimum charge for guaranteed next working day delivery is:
£60 (ex vat) when ordered online
£75 (ex vat) when ordered by phoneotherwise it is £4.95
but if the part is small and will fit in a jiffy bag, we are happy to send out by first class post at £2.

I used to use Homespare and gradually stopped getting spares because of the poor quality, in the end I was only buying door seals so I dropped them completely.
This was about fifteen years ago so the quality might have improved by now.
