Hi there. Regarding the above, I have never really worked on these appliances since the design dramatically changed about 5 or 6 years ago. They now seem a real pain to access the chassis components such as pump/ heater/ motor etc. I have one in the workshop at the moment, which has a neutral missing to the inlet solenoid in the flood protection device (within the fill hose) The main circ pump kicks in, but there is no fill. I’ve traced back as far as I can wiring wise. The float valve in the base has not been activated, & the TOC in the heater seems fine. I am suspecting the main PCB. Could anyone confirm this from previous experience?

    Regards,

    Neil

It sounds like it Neil, these boards appear to be quite a common failure on these models.

Quite often though a dry joint can cause problems with them as well so it may be worth checking that before ordering a new one 🙂

This is an odd one that might suggest the microswitches on the pressure chamber need a close look at. 💡

I personally haven’t had Main Module problems on this beast but obviously as Dave says it cannot be ruled out 🙁

The machine is very easy to dismantle by the way and as you have got it in your workshop it is worth a close look (once you’ve sussed the fault that is) If you PM me I can ‘talk’ you thru that process (useful Training Aid eh?…and in the true spirit of UKW….FREE! 😀 )
