I’ve got a second hand Ultima Wf860 and the display has gone haywire. It was fine until the other day and now all sorts of strange things are happening.
Nothing on the display makes sense a bears very little relation to what buttons I press.
Is it having a bad day or is it completly knackered.

    Many thanks

You could have a read of this thread, try the reset procedure, if that doesn’t work then it is time for the experts. 😉

Sorry about that, I was trying to make the dinner ( or lunch as less well educated people call it 😉 ) at the same time and the smoke alarm went off. 😳 🙂

thanks to both of you for help, unfortunately the display screen has competely flipped! It does do the programs but the info on the screen is nonsense. Will find out if my landlord has a warranty for it otherwise I’ll be washing blind!

    Thanks again.

The Hotpoint machines are covered by a manufacturers 5 year parts warrenty, not sure of your exact situation regarding this as you are not the original purchaser, worth finding out.
