    As per other posts, I’m guessing its the heating element gone.

    Can you tell me what part number I need? Also, how do I get access to replace (e.g from rear of cooker or interior).

    Oh almost forgot, its a Whirlpool AKZ106.

    Hi Nik,

    Pull the plug out

    check the plug is out!

    Element is accessable from inside (you need to be very careful pulling away from rear wall as if the wires dont come through, you have to take the back off)

    Part is available, £32.41 + vat and p&p
