Any ideas on how to get the bearing housing away from the shaft, it one of those with 4 legs attatched to the outer metal tub with 8 bolts, all bolts and pulley removed but it wont budge.
Wouldnt normally bother with this but attractive lady flutters her eye lids and eh ho im doing the job.
    Any info much appreciated.

    Regards

13mm bolt screwed right into the shaft then a couple of hits with a big hammer. Usually better to get it started before you remove the leg bolts to stop the housing damaging the tub which is paper thin. 😕

You realise that if the bearings are really done for and there’s any damage to the brass ring of the spider, it’s a BER ❗
