Hoover SE220

    Last week I went to a Hoover SE220 with a burnt out pump motor. The sump hose clip had cut through the hose and water had been dripping onto the pump. I fitted a new pump and cut the hose shorter as a temporary measure. I ordered hose 97910392 but have not been back to fit it as it looks to be the wrong one. The machine had a filter on the pump but the new hose seems to be for models without a filter. To add to my confusion, I now have another SE220 in the workshop and that does not have a filter 🙄 Perhaps the Special Edition name means that it’s a machine cobbled together with any bits knocking around the factory?

    Try 03860469, I think that’s the one you need (piccie on Connections and masterpart.com)

    These are a nightmare to identify, I think there are three or four variations on sump/filters for these models :haier:
