Indesit WG1030 soap tray gear link

I have just performed major surgery on an Indesit WG1030, but did not take note of the relative positions of the gear mesh in the water diverter link on the soap dispenser box.

I have fixed the original problem but the soap dish (No 2) does not empty now.

I suspect the gears in the link are not in the correct relative positiion, I set them middle for diddle i.e. centre of the cam is set centre of the arm, to give max stroke of the cam.

Does anyone know how this should be set?
