Hi,
I have two faults with this awful machine. the first is at the end of a wash, I am greeted with a drum full of water. I have to find a spin programme that can be bothered to work to drain it.
the second is tonight I put in a duvet cover and 2 pillow cases, which were almost dry, in the machine to tumble dry for 60 minutes, with the dial on tumble dry. I went back to the machine after an hour to find the machine full of water (!!!) and the machine stopped after 40 minutes. I now can’t drain the machine, as the programmes don’t want to work now. its now at this precise moment, quite happy turning water around. This machine is quite simply the worst – In future I’ll just stick to their vacuum cleaners!

Your drain pump is at best partly blocked, at worst badly worn.
The part legend Dave_Conway will enlighten us to part number and prices shortly.
Power off if you are going to pull the hoses and check for blockages.
