    Got this one from repairs@.
    Any ideas before I go down.

    You do what you gotta do to keep your customers happy 😉

    This is a Smeg appliance.

    E8 is supposed to mean that the alternating valve is not operating properly but it bascally means tht something daft has happened & the machine isn’t sure.

    First things to check are the connections to the pump and timer.

    If they’re fine then have a look at the motor to see if it’s seized or fried.

    After that it’s probably a goosed timer.
