    Hello everyone,

I have a Zanussi DCS14 desktop dishwasher which is about three years old.

It has recently developed a fault where the pump kept on running even if the power switch was on or off.

After reading messages on this forum I tried emptying the overfill tray at the back of the machine which was full of water and this solved the problem….for one wash cycle!!

After this cycle, I noticed that there was still a substantial amount of water left inside the machine, so I manually turned the programme dial to near the end and drained the rest.

Unfortunatley, next time I started a cycle the machine filled up and started leaking quite quickly and I am now back to the same problem of the pump running and me having to empty the overfill tray.

Do i have a drainage or blockage problem??

Any help would be gratefully accepted.

    Thank you.

The standard leak on this one was the salt chamber locking ring (not the cap) needing to be tightened up. The drain pump runs continuously when the under tray becomes flooded by water leaking down.
