I need some advise on this Bosch fridge/freezer and would appreciate if any can advise on the following, I have no problem changing parts etc, but need some expert advise.
The appliance is approx ten years and it has worked without any problem. Not too sure if it has now come to the end of its life cycle!
Symptoms:
1. The display shows the fridge is getting warmer and the freezer alarm is on.
2. The motor seems to be starting and running for a few minutes and cutting out.
3. I have manged to keep things going by switching off the fridge, keeping the freezer going, and letting it settle down for approx half an hour. Restated the fridge and set the freezer to Super. This brings the fridge back up to +3. Once I revert the freezer to normal use the eco display does not register -18 and the econometer display is on the 1 lamp (ie No Lamps very economical – 4 Lamps not so econmical)
4. If left as is, after a few hours the cycle just mentioned has to be repeated.
