Whirlpool AMW6100 front loader. How is thermostat housed? Is it scewed in, pushed in or what, how do you remove it , does it need sealing gunk when replacing it? Replacement difficulty level? All info/links welcome.

It hasn’t got a Thermostat!
It does however have an NTC fitted into the Heater boss. That is effectively the ‘electronic thermostat’ and usually is very reliable. It is held in place simple by compression. I wonder why you ask anyway? What really is the problem???
