    My dishwasher is now just over eight years old but has got progressively louder when in operation. It works fine but is just extremely noisy whilst cleaning. Is the pump on the way out or could there be something else wrong like a blockage/restriction? Thanks.

    Very likely the main shaft bearing has got noisy. This usually is due to the main Circulating Pump Housing leaking onto that bearing. The cost to fix isn’t going to be cheap and I estimate a local expert would likely charge around £100 in total to fix it?

    Don’t forget seal kit with that motor.
