    Hi all,

I have a 4yr old Bosch KGU32120GB/04 fridge freezer. A few days ago the fridge started to warm up. Have completely defrosted and turned back on. Both fridge and freezer cooled to 4 and -18C respectively and then after an hour the fridge was warming up again.

Read previous posts suggesting that a sensor is faulty and I need to short two pins together on the control unit. I assume the control unit is at the top behind the illuminated display but it does not detach obviously. Do I need to use brute force or am I missing something ?

Also any suggestions as to the colour of the wires that will need to be shorted together for this model variant ?

    Any help greatly appreciated !

    Cheers…John

Re: fridge not cooling on Bosch KGU32120GB/04 fridge freezer

For the benefit of anyone else who has symptoms similar to those I described – I actually spoke too soon when I said that the defrost hadn’t helped. Although the temperature did rise after initally dropping to 4C, whithin another hour it did drop back to 4 again and has been ok for a week now. So perhaps it is is worth a thorough defrost even though the KGU32120 is supposed to be frost free (the ice was very thick in the ducting at the back of the freezer that runs up to the fridge).
