No light showing for the Anti Bacterial Rinse when machine started tonight.

Any ideas why and how does this work?

    Thank you for any help.

Right, the light didn’t work because I depressed the button. 😳

I would still like to know what is and how it works though ❓

Don’t think any of the Whirlpool lads have been on today – they’ll spot this and give you an answer soon enough.

Depressing the Anti-Bacterial Rinse Button allows your machine to do an extra rinse immediately after the ‘wash’ part of the cycle finishes.

It is important to note that once this button is depressed, not to interrupt the cycle (i.e open the door) as that will likely cause the lamp to flash and not reach its pre-set sanitization temperature. 😉
