The rinse aid flap hinge on the above m/c has broken, does anyone have a spare soap dispenser for sale ? Or alternatively are there any workrounds or alternative part/s that would fit the bill ? Is the non addition of rinse aid detrimental to the mechanics of this old stalwart ?

If the hinge part is broken it’s probably part of the dispenser body ?
You can buy the lid itself if that is where the problem is for about £15 but the whole dispnser is £107 ex VAT from Hotpoint 😮
It won’t do any harm running it with no rinse aid added but depending on your water quality it may effect the results, worth a try though if no-one has an old one.
