The lower rotating arm in our DW is rubbing against the bottom of the door. Is it possible that the bearing on the arm has worn or is there any other possible reason?

Think I need to fix it or it will rub a hole in the door or the arm!

Also the rubber seal along the bottom of the door is hanging off on one side – presumably this is a DIY job if I can get the part? (Related to above?)

    Thanks for any advice.

There’s a technical bulletin on exactly this fault 🙂

The original lower spray arm being metal and it’s support being plastic causes excessive wear, the two parts are now replaced by one combined plastic spray arm and support, part number 91671231 at around £12 inc VAT and delivery.

I can order for you if required Stew, drop me an email from the button below this post.

    Dave.
