    Hi there,

Turned on the machine and a few seconds later something went bang.
Fuse in main plug is fine, phoned Servis service section up and they said take off the top and follow the power lead in and there should be another fuse inside?

Havn’t got my socket set with me coz there’s 2 6mm hex head screws holding on the top which is frustrating.

So can anyone tell me which fuse I’m going to be looking for and whether this could be a correct diagnosis.

I’ve heard that the control module could have blown and would be very expensive to replace – anyone give me an idea on the price?

    Cheers,
    Oli

    Err, that’s nice of Servis.

It likely will be the module, it’s a favourite party trick for Servis machines and you can kiss goodbye to the best part of £100 for a new PCB, not washing machine. 😉

Sorry, did I read this correctly, Servis advised you to take the lid off and check for a fuse that doesn’t exist ??? 😯

Did they also advise you to disconnect the appliance from the power ?

Interesting, please fill us in 😀

there is’nt an internal fuse (that i know of) in these machines 😯 kwatt’s right about the modules, also a faulty motor can go bang..

If it went bang after a few seconds, it’ll be the door lock. Which will no doubt take the board as well.

    Ho hum, nothing changes.

At least, if nothing else, Servis are consistent in making, err, not so good machines to be polite. 😉
