Is there such a thing for this machine? Customer uses emollient and destroys seals and pumps. He has been told on last replacement that it is an oil resistant doorseal. Anyone heard of this?

News to me although GIAS has produced “anti-bacterial” resistant door door seals for Hoover and Candy machines a while back now.

Yes i think it was pattern versus genuine he was probably fobbed off with.

You can probably tell by the price, 289500 is the genuine one, it should cost around £18 – £20 ex VAT trade.

I stumbled upon a quote from Indesit’s Partfinder yesterday on the subject :-

Mind you when you look up the price difference between the regular replacement door seal (£15) and the Nitrile Door seal (£42) I guess not too many of the latter would be fitted. 😆

Martin, where is that on Partfinder, does it include WMA models. I have a customer who would gladly pay £42 for a door seal , I have fitted four to the same machine this year, teenage daughter with serious skin problems.
