    Can any wise person help me here? Washing M/C works OK but does nothing when the drum should be turning anticlockwise.I have replaced the timer but the fault still persists.Help!

    We will try, if you post the correct model number. W100FW does not appear on any Hotpoint lists. How old is this machine if it has a ‘timer’ ?

    To be honest, I can’t think of anything apart from the timer that would cause this 😕

    Have you watched it for some time after starting the programme as quite often these will tumble quite a few times clockwise before doing an anti-clockwise rotation ?
