    I had my van broken into last night, so if any of you get some scroat trying to sell you whirlpool spares, a Hoki meter and two black tool cases with tools in the Sheffield area, please phone the police and pm me here.

    I just hope my motor insurance will cover this lot. 😡

    i know how you feel i had mine broken in to all my tools and pat tester gone mind this was in supermarket car park and had toad alarm fited to van

    Maybe it would be worth you setting up a search for the meter on ebay with e-mail notification if you hadn’t thought of it already,although it might have passed through a few hands by the time it gets there.

    I don’t think your motor insurer will cover that lot. You either need proper tools of the trade cover or do what I do, take the important stuff out of the vehicle overnight. Fortunately we have hardly any crime round here so I get away with being quite forgetful, sometimes leaving the workshop unlocked all night etc.
