Hi. We have moved into a house with a Tricity Sovereign 4638 – there appears to be some sort of safety feature where the oven cuts off after a few hours. Apparently it can be restarted but we don’t know how to – can anyone help. At the moment all we can do is wait for it to come back to life which takes a couple of hours. We are concerned that Christmas dinner will be a takeaway this year!! Many thanks

    hi kwikfire
this apppliance has a safety cut out to prevent overheating, the first thing to check is on the right hand side of the oven side panel near the front, there might be a filter there that may have become obstucted with fluff, as this is the point of entry for the air intake for the internal cooling fan, other than that its time for an engineer, check out the repair toolbox on the left of the site for an engineer close to you.

Did you have any luck with this? Did you find anyone that could help with maintenance? I have a Tricity Sovereign that needs a new hinge and halogen elements but can’t find suppliers.
