ParticipantPlease help. I have recently been supplied the above dishwasher with a kitchen. We have just plumbed it in but it keeps coming up with Error 1. Please could anyone let me know what it means. I have tried to telephone Maple Industries but with no luck. Could this error be something that we have forgotton to do? 😕
I have checked the water which appears to be on. I have added salt & rinse aid. It sounds like the cycle is starting, starts gurgling then beeps and show the error message.
Cheers
P.S I am planning to buy some power instead of using 3 in 1 as you have suggested!

Hello,
It is a brand new dishwasher in a new house. It is fitted to the same pipework as the kitchen sink so I know there is water there. My husband just connected up the pipes/ waste etc.
What do you think the problem is/ I have my plumber coming tomorrow to sort out some other teething problems in te house so I can get him to check the pipes.
Cheers,
JSB

It’s possible that the spigot the drain hose connects to under the sink hasn’t been cut. If this is still sealed then there will nowhere for the water to drain to .

Thanks for your help. When I pull the dishwasher out it works fine. It looks like the waste was getting trapped behind the machine. 😀
Cheers,

Hi
I have the exact same model dishwasher.
I’ve never had any error messages reported, but recently I have found that when turning the dishwasher on, the timer button is the only one that works (apart from the power button).
The program button just doesn’t do anything. The half-load button has never done anything, but I don’t care about that.
I have remedied this in the past by closing and opening the door a couple of times and it sorts itself out, but recently I have been having to do this more and more, and then last night it just wouldn’t play ball at all.
I have tried turning it off at the mains for a couple of hours at a time, but still no good.
Is there a reset button at the back I could try? I suppose you are all going to tell me that I have broken it through using tablets 🙁
Could it be a blockage somewhere, and it’s not letting you select a program until the blockage has cleared?
Thanks in advance for your help.

The door switch is working in so much as each time I open the door and close the door it beeps. This surely must mean that it is recognising that the door is open or closed?

In that case yes, it’s probably OK.
Possible PCB fault but I would ask an engineer to call and confirm before condemning to be honest as it could be a costly misdiagnosis.
Check the repairs@ link below 🙂
