Even better than the bloke who sent me £20.00 for advice on the phone, yesterday a female customer said “do you mind if I ask how old you are” I obviously said “how old do you think” , when she said 45, I was almost tempted to cancel my invoice. 😀
58 next Wednesday and almost 38 years on my knees peering into white goods, but still manage to play 3 games of squash a week. 8)

I am 60 next week . Been into applliance repairs 11 years . In my time I have been a telephone engineer , run a mobile fruit and veg shop , a proffesional musician , a builders labourer , a brush sales man , a busker , an artic driver at home and abroad , and most other things except a Saggar Makers Bottom Knocker . A bit like the song , I did it my way…

and trying to keep this thread on topic for a change…
The boss here is 55, and he gave up playing squash (nice1 RS 😆 ) about 10 years ago. Saying that, he’s a healthy old git. He’s always up at the crack of dawn, doing stretches and exercises.
When he does play squash (very rarely) he kicks the snot out of my 31 year old brother 😀
