ModeratorInitial fault was 13 flashes, found both wires to dryer NTC broken. Repaired and tested, dryer heated up and light stopped flashing. Customer now complains that it is not drying. Went back and ran again, heater getting hot, pump working, condensor cold valve working, triggered door lock with door open and could feel a good blast of hot air. Have asked her to make sure she is using correct times and cycles and also to test machine using some dry towels to see if they become damp.
Anyone had to clean out a condensor on this model ?

Yep, clogs up. Took weeks for the scars on the back of left hand to heal.

Thanks Chris, it did look a nasty piece of work, still, all grist to the mill. 😥 🙂

Cleaned the condensor thoroughly, wasn’t to bad a job, plenty of fluff in it. Customer still complaining of clothes being wet after drying. Beginning to wish I hadn’t bothered with this darned thing. 😉

OK Jim, if you have cleaned the condenser and confirmed the valve flows to the condenser, are you sure water is flowing through the ‘Restrictor Nozzle?’ They usually fur up after a couple of years use anyway and need replacing( well down south they do, possibly not in the frozen north?) But worth replacing nonetheless 💡

Some of the softest water in the country round here, hence the large number of drum support failures. To which ‘restrictor’ nozzle are you referring?
