    I have been having problems with my oven just swtiching off in the middle of cooking. The display panel stays on, but the panel that shows the temperature just drops back down to zero. After cooling down the oven will start again. Sometimes it stays on for a few minutes and sometimes it will stay on for a couple of hours.

    Possibly an electronic control unit error (if it has one) or a sensor.

    Model number please for further help 🙂

    The model number of the oven is FM 6448 D21

    Unless the cooling fan isn’t running and causing overheating problems, it would appear to be an electronic problem.

    I would ask an engineer to have a look to be honest, these are complicated ovens to work on and diagnose, check Repairs@ for one 🙂
