In the first 6 months of 2005, Turkey exported 64.6 percent of its durable goods output.
In January to June 2004, the total durable goods production was 5.52 million and 3.56 million of those goods were exported and 2.40 million of them were sold in the country.
Under the data of the Association of Durable Goods Industrialists in Turkey, Turkey produced refrigerators the most with 2.5 millions in the first 6 months of 2005. Turkey exported 1.76 million of those refrigerators.
In the same period, 1.14 million of the total 1.92 million washing machines and 157,217 of the total 352,501 dishwashers were exported. <br.
