I keep getting complaints from a customer about poor wash results with this machine. I have told her about not overdosing on detergents , and trying different brands of same , all to no avail . Engineers came out to it 3 times under guarantee . She wishes she had her old 95 series hotpoint back . She now blames it on the fact that this machine only takes in two and a half inches of water on wash as opposed to one quater of the way up the door on the old machine . I told her that modern machines take less water . Does any one think it is underfilling and could this be the cause of the problem . Zanuusi are not interested , and they never were . Anyone have any bright ideas?
If the installation is OK, she/he is using the incorrect dosage or the wrong detergent for sure 😉
Why customer’s insist they do it right then when you leave go back to their old ways of just “chuck a load of powder in” is quite beyond me at times 😕
Ask her to be more specific with the poor wash results, which type of fabric etc, it may help 🙂
The “wash” part of the process has changed. You are no longer sploshing the clothes about in lots of water, you are now forcing a relatively small amount of detergent loaded water through the clothes instead. Because of the low water level dosage has become more critical than ever. Take the time to explain the difference betweent the old machine and the new and it’ll probably solve the problem.
