Having tested the heating element and found it to work, I checked the resistance across the two element thermostats and found the resistance across each to be approximately 0.2 Ohms. Is this value normal? If it is, why is the dryer blowing cold air? Is there another thermostat fitted to the unit and if so, where is it located? Any other ideas?
    Thanks in anticipation………….

There shouldn’t be any resistance across the thermostats in theory, they may have poor contacts and fail under load. These are the most common cause of no heat on this model.

There is another thermostat which on ocassion fails near the front on the fan ducting, if that one proves OK, then the thermostats on the heater are the prime suspect or possibly the timer but that’s unusual.

Power off when checking please :zap:

Thanks for the fast response Dave!
The thermostat at the front of the unit is showing 10 MOhms, so I guess this is the culprit? Do you have a part number if you agree with the diagnosis please?
